NFAS Department recently conducted a seminar on “Small Business Management and Perspectives of Financial Institutions on Impediments faced by SMEs in Pakistan” in collaboration with Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (SMEDA) at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi.

Mr. Shahid Malik, Head of Products for SME, Bank Alfalah and Mr. Raja Hassanien Javed, Provincial Chief of Punjab, SMEDA apprised the participating students and budding business owners on the benefits of devising formal business management processes and engaging with the financial institutions to spur growth and stability in newly set up businesses.
On the occasion, Ms Huma Ayub, Head of Business Administration at FJWU greatly appreciated Bank Alfalah’s commitment towards supporting SMEs and expressed hope for continuation of such activities in the future.
