The SME Team was on the road once again, this time visiting Main Market Lahore for an exciting market storming activity. Main Market is home to a number of small retailers and medium business enterprises. It is bustling with vendors dealing in a number of goods such as fabrics, books, grocery, furniture and other commonplace use items.
On 17th February, 2015, the SME team along with members of the Credit Staff of East Region presented Alfalah’s SME solutions to the merchants of Main Market, Gulberg, Lahore with great zeal.
Before the market storming activity, participants were given a briefing by the SME Team. The uses, features and benefits of all SME products were described. Emphasis was laid on the need to educate SME clients on how Bank Alfalah caters to various SME needs via its tailored products, non-financial advisory program and the SME Toolkit. In addition, Mr. Hafiz Abdur Rauf (Relationship Manager Payroll Sales-Central) explained the benefits of employee banking offered by Bank Alfalah and how this strengthens relationships with the SME sector.
Following the briefing, 25 individuals went out in Main Market for 2 hours in the vicinity of City Towers, Aurega Complex and the adjacent shops. More than 55 leads were generated, while from the SME product suite Alfalah Milkiat Finance and Alfalah Merchant Line were greatly appreciated and demanded by the retailers in the market.
